Network Assessments A Network Assessment is designed to be a modular service that can be delivered as a standalone service or as a module within a comprehensive Infrastructure Assessment.
A Health Check Assessment is designed to be a high level appraisal intended to give the client a quick review of their network "vital signs". This type of assessment is comparable to a routine medical checkup that you might experience when visiting a family doctor. The focus of this type of assessment is network architecture and network performance, and may focus on one or two specific issues that are idientified during the project scoping and requirements analysis. Target project duration is 1-3 weeks depending upon the size and complexity of the target environment. Data collection efforts are anticipated to be limited to 2-3 business days.
Type 2 - Architecture and Performance Assessment
An Architecture and Performance Assessment is designed to be a full-featured appraisal of a client's network architecture and performance. A key deliverable to the customer is a performance baseline as defined within the NAP methodology. Target project duration is 3-6 weeks depending upon the size and complexity of the target environment. Data collection efforts are anticipated to be 5-10 days with the default being 7 consecutive days.
Type 3 - Full Assessment
A Full Assessment builds upon a Type 2 assessment by adding appraisal of a client's network accessibility and network management capabilities. Target project duration is 4-10 weeks depending upon the size and complexity of the target environment.
Type 4 - Business Cycle Assessment
